Sanitary District No. 6 collects garbage three days per week, and recycling, junk, and yard waste one day per week. All material must be at the curb before 6:00 AM on your collection day, and should not be placed at the curb before 7:00 PM the night before.
For bulk items and e-waste special pickups, call 516-481-7110 ext. 5. Mattresses, box springs, and bedding must be wrapped in plastic or placed in mattress bags before being placed curbside.
